Chardham Yatra Itinerary from Haridwar

  • Day 1 : Haridwar – Barkot (205 km)

    After picking you up from your Hotel/Haridwar Railway Station/Bus Stand or Dehradun Airport, the trip will continue to drive towards Barkot for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2 : Barkot- Janki Chatti- Yamunotri (45 km)

    On 2nd day of tthe rip, we will drive to Janki Chatti-Base camp for Yamunotri Trek. From here, You can hire a pony to reach Yamunotri Temple and after darshan, trek back to the base. Drive back to Barkot and stay overnight.

  • Day 3 : Barkot – Uttarkashi (85 km)

    Next Day, you will leave Barkot to reach Uttarkashi after having breakfast. Uttarkashi is located on the river banks of Bhagirathi and is well known for its renowned Temple. By evening, visit the well-known Vishwanath Temple. Have your dinner and stay overnight in Uttarkashi.

  • Day 4 : Uttarkashi – Gangotri (100 km)

    Early morning, continue your drive to Gangotri Dham and en route travel break at Gangnani, take a bath at a Hot water spring and later proceed to Gangotri Temple for Puja and prayers. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

  • Day 5 : Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (240 km)

    Leave Uttarkashi to reach 3rd Dham- Kedarnath for which base is Guptkashi. It will take 5-6 hours to reach here which is a famous town known for religious places and scenic places. Post arrival, you can check in your hotel.

  • Day 6 : Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 km)

    After arrival to Sonprayag, start your 20 km trek to Kedarnath situated on the banks of Mandakini River. You can take pony rides or trek to reach the main deity temple.

  • Day 7 : Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi (52 km)

    Wake up early morning and go for Darshan and take part in the Rudrabhishek ceremony. Trek back to Guptkashi and Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 8 : Guptkashi- Rudraprayag – Joshimath – Badrinath (190 km)

    Leave for the next venue to Badrinath via Joshimath in the early morning. Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is also famous as one of the Bada Dham in India.

  • Day 9 : Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (165 km)

    You can also offer your prayers at Badrinath Temple in the early morning and head towards Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Explore Badrinath city and visit other temples, and tourist sites such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Sanctuary. Continue your drive to Rudraprayag and stay overnight in the hotel.

  • Day 10 : Rudraprayag– Rishikesh – Haridwar (160 km)
